My name is McKenzie Schumacher and I am based in Omaha, NE. I am married to my husband Mark, and we have two children, one boy and one girl. While I’ve spent much of my career in Corporate America, my passion for lactation support began after the birth of my son in 2021. As I navigated my own breastfeeding journey, I became deeply invested in helping other families feel informed, supported, and confident. I continued pursuing that passion by interning for 500 hours at Nebraska Medicine and sitting for and passing the September 2025 exam after my daughter was born in 2024. I’m passionate about providing evidence-based care with empathy, encouragement, and real-life understanding fore very family I work with.
